Eventually I'll get to setting up a redirect, but until then, here's the direct link to my blog:

http://www.Untitledi.com/blog

The only thing you'll find on my main page at the moment is my music player, which should be filled with several of my favorite songs. Check em out.
Friday, September 24, 2004

I really did it now. In my last post I said how I was going to get an MRI, the results came back. I tore my Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) completely in two, and my Lateral Meniscus (MCL) is torn again. Let's refer to the diagram eheh.

So yep, that ACL, no longer one piece. I have yet to find out what kind of tear is in my meniscus, read back a few months ago and you can find out about those kinda tears. Here's what the ACL controls in the knee:

Preventing the lower leg bone from sliding forward or turning inward when the leg is straight.

Preventing the knee from being stretched or straightened beyond its normal limits (hyperextended).

Supporting the knee ligaments that keep the knee from bending sideways.

So in lesser words, my school soccer season, gone. Before it even starts, it's done. I better get at least one comment haha. I tried playing on it after it was injured, it wasn't pretty. I simply just ran and tried to stop sideways, bent it sideways. From what I'm told, it didn't look pretty, I didn't get to see it in action. All of this because of some freshman, man I hate them even more now heh. My surgery is sometime in October and it won't be completely recovered for a year, but I can play before then. Looks like I'm going to become a hardcore biker now, it's the only thing I can do -- I can't even do stairs yet alone jog or run. Anyways here's what it looks like as far as surgery:

The surgeon may reattach the torn ends of the ligament or reconstruct the torn ligament by using a piece (graft) of healthy ligament from the patient (autograft) or from a cadaver (allograft). Although synthetic ligaments have been tried in experiments, the results have not been as good as with human tissue. One of the most important elements in a patient's successful recovery after cruciate ligament surgery is a 4- to 6-month exercise and rehabilitation program that may involve using special exercise equipment at a rehabilitation or sports center. Successful surgery and rehabilitation will allow the patient to return to a normal lifestyle.
Hah, normal lifestyle. Like I ever had that. And 4-6 months of physical therapy I am definitely not looking forward to. I opted to get the autograft by the way, the allograft has a minute chance of contracting AIDS, HIV, or Hepatitis. Even if it is minute, I don't feel comfortable taking that risk. And of course Wolfe, the surgeon, told me 3 years ago there was a problem in a lab where 3 people got AIDS from cadaver tissue, but it wasn't a lab he used. Still I don't feel like being the first from a new lab. Thanks for the story, it really helps prick. In other news I'm trying to find a class to switch into instead of Team Sports since I can't do jack, and I'm finding it's either Childhood or some other lame class. Katie said she was going to talk to Zim but either it didn't work or she didn't, going to give her the benefit of the doubt on that. Oh and I got to hear remnants of something that happened last year from my brother, that was nice and refreshing. I'm done, here's a good song I've been listening to a lot lately, get's ya pumped, take a listen.

Refused - New Noise

Can I scream? Yeah!
We lack the motion to move to the new beat
We lack the motion to move to the new beat

It's here for us to admire if we can afford the beauty of it
Can afford the luxury of turning our heads
Adjust that thousand dollar smile and behold the creation of man
Great words won't cover ugly actions - good frames won't save bad paintings

We lack the motion to move to the new beat. Yeah!
We lack... motion
When the day is over - Hey! - the doors are locked on us
Money buys the access - and we can't pay the cost
And how can we expect anyone to listen if we are using the same old voice?
We need new noise - new art for the real people

We dance to all the wrong songs
We enjoy all the wrong moves
We dance to all the wrong songs
We're not leading
We dance to all the wrong songs
We enjoy all the wrong moves
We dance to all the wrong songs
We're not, we're not, we're not, we're not, we're not, we're not...
Leading

We dance - all the wrong songs
We enjoy - all the wrong moves
We dance - all the wrong songs

We dance - all the wrong songs
We enjoy - all the wrong moves
We dance - all the wrong songs

Here we go!

We dance to all the wrong songs
We enjoy all the wrong moves
We dance to all the wrong songs
We're not leading. Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!

The new beat! The new beat! The new beat! The new beat!
The new beat! The new beat! The new beat! The new beat!
The new beat! The new beat! The new beat! The new beat!
The new beat! The new beat! The new beat! The new beat!
Thank you.

Eh what the hell, one more song couldn't hurt. A classic perhaps?

Tonic - You Wanted More

Love is tragic
Love is bold
You will always do what you are told

Love is hard
Love is strong
You will never say that you were wrong

I dont know when I got bitter
Love is sure better when it's gone
Because you wanted more
More than I could give
More than I could handle
And a life that I can't live

You wanted more
More than I could bare
More than I could offer
And a love that isn't there

Love is color
Love is love
Love is never saying you're too proud

Love is trusting
Love is honest
Love is not a hand that holds you down

I dont know when I got bitter
Love is surely better when it's gone
Because you wanted more
More than I could handle
And a life that I can't live

You wanted more
More than I could bare
More than I could offer
And a love that isn't there

I gotta pick me up when I am down
I gotta get my feet back on the ground
I gotta pick me up when I am down

[Solo]

I don't know when I got bitter
Love is surely better when it's gone
Because you wanted more
More than I could handle
And a life that I can't live

You wanted more
More than I could bare
More than I could offer
And love that isn't there

You wanted more
More than I could bare
More than I could offer

Because you wanted more
More than I could give
More than I could handle
And a life that I can't live

Saturday, September 18, 2004

Before I write about anything, take a look at this picture:

Balding Gay Mexican Pornstar or Child Star?

He got arrested yesterday or the day before for drugs, haha. I think he looks like a balding gay Mexican pornstar myself. In case you haven't figured it out, he's Macaulay Culkin from those Home Alone movies

Yeah so anyways, finally established my regular hours, Sundays from 11AM to 6PM. It's raining a lot out today, I think it's the day Ivan, Frances, or Charles, one of those hurricanes is finally making it's way up to us. So I'm stuck inside all day today, then working all day tomorrow, how fun. Can't wait til I can buy an iPod. We had Thursday off for Rosh Hashanah (thanks Jewish people). I went for an MRI and a bike ride then. My knees were killing me at first, then I guess they either became numb or just became flexible again. Yesterday sucked, I had a bad day. I wrote my Spanish essay in the morning, it was too short eheh. Then I had trouble printing it out, so I had to take care of that at school. When I got to my first period, my computer wouldn't turn on, so the teacher fixed it. Then in Team Sports 2, I almost got pegged in the face with a kickball thrown by some retard with no motion skills, luckily I have fairly quick reactions and ducked in time. But we played matball (a form of kickball) and I got to watch some girl step on top of the ball, slip on it, then fall and bounce off the ball on the ground. I almost shit my pants laughing. Then there was this kid, let's call him "mildly obese", who couldn't run for his life (or a twinky) and he kicked the ball which was quickly scooped up by Chris Roland. If Roland had tried out for football, he could've easily been backup QB, but anyways, he wings the ball at this kid and I couldn't help myself haha. Terrible I know, but hey, I was having a bad day. So then onto Spanish. Eugenio felt the need to show my essay to the teacher, asshole. She kept giving me sideways looks the rest of the class and even busted on me for being a slacker. Fickle old whore, I'll push you down the stairs. Then we went to lunch where I hyperextended my knee again, and felt like shit for the rest of the day. Then back to Spanish again, I just slept for the rest of class. Finally, onto Chemistry, we did some dumb lab exercise and I just screwed around. Then we had soccer practice which wasn't at the school and the bus for that was an hour late, so not fun. Oh, and I signed up for Yearbook Staff haha, don't ask why, because I don't know either. I have to have someone advertise in it, I think I'm going to try to get 320 Produce (where I work) to do it. Other than that, I got a letter from a new college, West Virginia University. Doesn't look too interesting. I also got a letter from Goucher College again. And a thing from Poetry.com, a poem I wrote is going to be in a book. If someone wants to see it, just leave a comment. It's nothing amazing in my eyes. Well I think I'm done writing for now, here's lyrics to a good song.

The Killers - Somebody Told Me

Breaking my back just to know your name
Seventeen tracks and I've had it with this game
I'm breaking my back just to know your name
But heaven ain't close in a place like this
Anything goes but don't blink you might miss
Cause heaven ain't close in a place like this
I said heaven ain't close in a place like this
Bring it back down, bring it back down tonight
Never thought I'd let a rumour ruin my moonlight

Well somebody told me
You had a boyfriend
Who looks like a girlfriend
That I had in February of last year
It's not confidential
I've got potential

Ready? Let's roll onto something new
Taking its toll and I'm leaving without you

Cause heaven ain't close in a place like this
I said heaven ain't close in a place like this
Bring it back down, bring it back down tonight
Never thought I'd let a rumour ruin my moonlight

Well somebody told me
You had a boyfriend
Who looks like a girlfriend
That I had in February of last year
It's not confidential
I've got potential
A rushin', a rushin' around

Pace yourself from me
I said maybe baby please
But I just don't know now
When all I wanna do is try

Somebody told me
You had a boyfriend
Who looks like a girlfriend
That I had in February of last year
It's not confidential
I've got potential
A rushin', a rushin' around

Wednesday, September 15, 2004

Ah DAMNIT! I hurt my other knee again and can't play soccer for at least a week. And the good news is...well there is no real good news. My first block, Intro to Computer Programming, is okay, but nothing special. Second block, Team Sports 2, is a killer for me, both my knees, my hip, and more recently my back are starting to hurt more and more. Eh, I'm falling apart. And my 3rd block class, Spanish 4 Honors, really sucks, way too hard. Luckily I sit next to a kid who speaks fluent Spanish ahaha, we're both slackers. And 4th block I rule.

Moving on, there is a SHITLOAD of freshmen. We had two trailers added onto the back of the school to accommadate those little bastards. But all of them aren't bad eheh, there's one that's been catching my eye. I have no explanation for why she does, it's weird. Anyways I keep seeing her around, but who knows if anything'll become of it. But it still doesn't negate any past feelings, at least not yet. So yeah, that's all that's really going on in that aspect at this point.

Today I stayed home from school to go to an Orthopaedic appointment and just skipped the rest of school haha. And so it begins.... We also have Thursday off for Rosh Hashanah, there is no word that better describes that than "NOYCE." One of the perks of having a large concentration of Jewish people in our school district. The other perk is to borrow money haha (Don't mind the racism, it's a joke). Tonight I went to watch the JV and Varsity soccer teams play, both of which lost. JV lost 2 - 0 and Varsity lost 1 - 0. DJ (on JV) got a red card for what should have just been a regular foul or at most a yellow, Bryan (my brother, Varsity) bit his lip and has blood all over his shirt, and Hal Myers got to yell something that, by my guess, he'd been waiting to say a long time eheh. Yeah, that's about it besides the fact that this song is pretty damn good. Also another you should download, "Snow Patrol - Run." Great song.
Wednesday, September 15, 2004

Ah DAMNIT! Who cares if it was overcast, a bit colder than usual, and the second-to-last day until school; I GOT PAID! I love money, it's a nice addition to my wallet. I got $132 in cash. Dulce, muy dulce. I already had $58 in my wallet, so that's a total of $190. Now I only need $210 until I can buy the iPod I want, only costs $400 eheh. I should really start saving towards insurance, because it'll cost about $700 every 6 months, but I start driving in February so I'll have some time til then. And I forgot to mention while driving home yesterday from Virginia, I had a cop shadow me, that FREAKED me out pretty bad, scared me shitless. I was only going 5 miles over the speed limit (55mph) but after I passed him (he was just watching cars go by), he pulls out and stays behind me for a good 8-10 miles. He never lost sight of me. Oh, and not to mention when I'm already freaked out, my dad says, "Don't get pulled over, I haven't gotten the new insurance cards in here yet." So, at first glance without checking the database, we have expired insurance and a teenage driver who is not insured, but I'm not sure I have to be yet anyways. And Matt Riley said our car was badass, and it is (for a sedan), take a look:

Specs:
+_2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP SE
    +_240HP Supercharged V6
    +_Automatic

These pictures are not of the car, but they're the same type, everything seen from the outside is the same.

And in other news, here's some odd news stories from today/past few days:

Man brandishes rocket launcher during argument
SYRACUSE, NY — A Syracuse, New York, man got the scare of his life when another man pointed a rocket launcher at him during an argument. Luckily, the weapon had already been used and was inoperable.

Police say the two men were arguing when one of them pulled the rocket launcher out of his girlfriend's vehicle, pulled off the cap, extended the tube and pointed it at the other man.

Police later seized the rocket launcher. No charges were filed.

The man said the rocket launcher came from a friend who had used it in training at Fort Drum.

Oklahoma Cop 'Bags' Two on Drug Charges
SHAWNEE, Okla. - Policeman Jon Arnetts was just doing a good turn when he pulled over acar to alert the driver there was a black bag on top of the vehicle. Then he found out what was in the bag.

It contained a handgun, baggies with a small amount of white Crystal and marijuana, a smoking pipe and several pills.

The two people in the car were arrested on drug charges, and one will also face a weapons charge.

After the vehicle was impounded, police also found a large hunting knife, a butterfly knife and digital scales.

Okay, that's pretty much it for tonight, here's some lyrics to a song that I've liked for quite a long time now.

Acceptance - Bleeding Heart

Send it home
In a paper bag
Says things change
Maybe its me

You can't fix me up
You can't fix me up
This bleeding heart
This bleeding heart
Found broken
My innocence
My innocence
This bleeding heart
Lay me down

It grows cold
Autumns not the same without you
The colors fade
Beautiful to lifeless

You can't fix me up
You can't fix me up
This bleeding heart
This bleeding heart
Found broken
My innocence
My innocence
This bleeding heart
Lay me down

Waiting here for you
Say that now we're home
I write this knowing what to say to you
Crying
Crying
Today theres nothing else to say to you
Crying
Crying

This bleeding heart
This bleeding heart
Found broken
My innocence
My innocence
This bleeding heart
Lay me down
This bleeding heart
This bleeding heart
Found broken
Found broken

Sunday, September 05, 2004

Not a bad weekend. On Friday morning around 6:15AM, I left for Virginia driving, and drove for about 3/4 of the 4 hour drive, not bad at all. The reason for going down there was because Bryan and our school's varsity soccer team were heading down to play in a preseason tournament. So my dad and I went to their hotel and it was oddly silent, nobody was walking the halls, no incessant screaming, nothing, it was kinda weird. Oh, and you could definitely tell you were in the South haha, in the hotel lobby was an obese black lady with 2 kids clinging on her and two rifles resting on a wooden rack mounted on the wall....mmmhmm. So anyways we were about to pull out and go to our hotel, but Rudy (Paul Rudolph, assistant varisty coach) pulled up next to us and apparently everyone was there, we didn't think they were. When we went back in a second time to check, we saw Ryan Bair throwing mousetraps at Campbell haha, now that's what I was expecting to find. After knocking on four or five rooms, we finally found Bryan's, dumbass didn't have his cell on. After we talked to him for a bit, we drove to our hotel, 20 miles South of the field; varsity's was 30 miles North of the field. It took a while to find, we drove right past it and we stopped to ask directions. Haha, I love southern accents. This is what we were told:

"Ya'll gonna go down [numbered road] and look fer da Windixie, there used ta be a Wal-Mart there but they done closed up. Go'on'in (I guess that meant "go on in") the Windixie and make yer first right."

....Awesome eheh. I still haven't stopped saying "There used ta be a Wal-Mart there but they done closed up", cracks me up. Anyways, the team won both games yesterday, and both today to win the tournament. Bryan got a slight concussion and done got his head stepped on (like that one?). He didn't play the last game. Oh, and other mentionable moments were Karl's stupid yellow card for stepping in front of a kick, Ryan Bair got spit on (or is it spat?), Mark decked some kid really bad, Mark Lafreniere scored the game winning goal of the last game, Mr. Barr (the head coach) called someone "numbnuts" and threw in a couple "Lord Almighty's" here and there, and the Christchurch head coach sounded like a girl. Oh, I forgot to mention, the tournament was held at a boarding school in I guess it was Saluda, Virginia. The school was pretty nice, but those poor kids, it must suck. Heh, losers. Even if they are allowed to go into town, there's no real town worthy of going to, matter of fact, there is no town really, just a school in the middle of nowhere. The fields were nice too. And I think that's about it, we drove back today, and got home around 8PM or so I think. Oh and I don't have to do summer reading until the spring again haha, thank god. There's no way I can read a 500-page book in two days, and I'd still have to read two more anyways, damn that's lame. I could care less about Apartheid. I've also injured my other knee, the good one that hasn't been operated on, so hopefully that won't turn into another surgery. I'm starting to get a bit hungry, later folks.

Check this out:

<img Damn Alex Kasala wanted me to finish his shift so he could go to band, assclown. Not to mention he said "I LOVE YOU!" when I came to the register, that just weirded me out (I'm almost certain he is homosexual and anyone who knows me knows I can't stand many people like that). I worked til close which was 5PM, then finally left at 6:30PM. When I was cleaning, I saw Mitch and Liam pass by eheh, they came back and I gave them a shitload of free bread and bagels we just throw out. They're still good, but we have nowhere to put them overnight and we get fresh ones everyday so, if you want some free bread, come on by when we close. The 2 bags I gave Liam weighed about 10lbs. altogether haha, good timing on his part. Other than that, nothing much else is going on, everything is still sore and I have practice tomorrow again. Joe wants me to make him a website, my Archos is on the fritz again, soccer is exhausting, and spending another 5-8 hours on my feet working everyday doesn't help either, summer reading has to be started (and finished eheh), and God knows that else, there's always a new curve life has yet to throw at me. I guess I need to get to bed, later. Oh and I might be making captain for the JV soccer team, but I dunno. I figure it's better to be captain on JV than sitting on Varsity so meh, whatever.
Friday, August 27, 2004

Not too bad of a day I suppose. I woke up at 6AM today for a soccer scrimmage, had to be at the school by 7:30AM. We had a long bus ride to Pennsbury (still possibly in Jersey for all I know) and started playing around I guess 10 or 11AM. We tied our first game, then lost our second. Varsity's first game got called early due to a fight; apparently people were making racist remarks toward Karl (he's black) and a fight eventually broke out. Barr, the Varsity Coach, ended up talking to the school's superintendent about it. After both teams had played two games, we all went to Burger King and put those people to work haha. They were going so damn fast. Sorry if my writing isn't as lively tonight either, I'm feeling a bit slow due to my tired and fatigued state. Anyways after that, we all piled back into the bus, and rode home. Bair and Riley were throwing random shit at people and putting Vaseline in their hair for the majority of the ride there and back, it was entertaining for a while. We got home around 2:30 or 3PM, then me and Bry went to sleep til 6PM or so. My surround sound is finally getting installed tomorrow, some guys from Tweeter are coming to hook it up for us. I'm anxious to hear how this baby sounds, it's a $4k system, it better be good. Umm....other than that, nothing much else is going on, practice again tomorrow at 9:30AM and 5:30PM, then work on Saturday from 10AM to 3PM. Oh yeah, more info on the job, but nothing too exciting. I have some definite answers now.

+_$6/hour
+_Paid training
+_Payday every other Friday
+_5-hour shifts

Man I'm tired, later folks.
